A quiet revolution
New treatment method is revolutionizing the health industry.
In the late 1990s as a new treatment system was born. The new science was named Acupuncture 2000, but since many mistook it with Chinese acupuncture, the name was changed to AcuNova, meaning “New Acupuncture”
AcuNova works via the nervous system – as opposed to Chinese acupuncture that works through so-called meridians.
Acupuncturist John Boel discovered that, there are points in or around the joint which are extremely effective in the treatment of pain, organic disorders and so-called incurable eye disease – even in cases where medical science has given up with the words: “You must learn to live with it”
The doctor and acupuncturist takes Boel Acupuncture, as well as a handful of scientists spent a lot of time exploring the new system. As the research progressed, they became aware that AcuNova contained some unique potential that you had not seen before in any known health system.
Since then a lot has happened. 4.000 alternative practitioners, doctors and other healthcare professionals from around 50 countries learned AcuNova.
There have been negotiations on AcuNova at international conferences in China, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Spain, Norway and Sri Lanka – where researchers from over 100 countries gathered to learn.
The participants were very enthusiastic about AcuNova and John Boel was first honored with the title, “Acupuncturist of the Century” for the discovery.
Every week about 250,000 patients worldwide have been treated by therapists with AcuNova who have learned it.
There is performed a few AcuNova attempt but the treatment of Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD) and pain
Boel Acupuncture in Denmark performed about 40 eye treatments every day.
Boel naturally want the best treatment for patients. Therefore, they decided in 2004 to study the AcuNova points that gave the best results. Since about 80% of all Boel eye patients suffering from AMD (dry and wet form), they chose this eye disease AMD as the leading cause of clinical blindness in the western world.
30 AMD patients were divided into three groups: 1, 2 and 3.
Closer examination showed that the diagnosis was wrong in three cases, so Boel decided to continue with the selected 27 AMD patients.
Boel also wanted to examine whether the two weeks of intensive treatment was better than one, which until then had been used, so the volunteers received two daily treatments through two weeks (- weekend), and then continuous treatments over time, a total of 30 treatments.
The 3 groups were treated with various AcuNova variants. (AcuNova 1 AcuNova AcuNova 2 and 3)
Visual performance was examined periodically through eye chart during treatment.
The results were evaluated after 4 weeks and were followed for 6 months.
|Method||Number of patients||No improvement Of vision||Improving Of vision|
|AcuNova 1||9||30 %||70 %|
|AcuNova 2||8||40 %||60 %|
|AcuNova 3||10||20 %||80 %|
|Total||27||30 %||70 %|
The subjects in AcuNova 3 group achieved a visual improvement of between 15-40%.
The average improvement in visual acuity was 27%.
The results with the methods we used on patients in the other two groups, was worse.
Therefore, the method we used in the best group (AcuNova 3) course immediately introduced as standard treatment for all eye patients.
After our experience since examination, the results can be transferred to patients with other eye diseases.
Examination of the visual acuity was made with two different test systems:
Takagi: Electronic tester
Snellen eye chart.
There was a use of uncorrected vision – glasses or contact lenses.
Subjects were tested before the first treatment, and then once every week.
Takagi was applied to patients with more than 5% and the Snellen visual acuity on board, for the patients who are deteriorated.
This result is confirmed by the daily treatment with Boel of acupuncture clinics in Aulum and Copenhagen.
For the last five years, the clinics had treated 4.985 AMD patients.
We used the same test method as above.
83% of the 4.985 AMD patients achieved a visual improvement of at least 15%.
The first two weeks, will AMD patients receive 20 treatments (two treatments on weekdays), and then two treatments every month to maintain the achieved improvement.
AcuNova was discovered in 1999, so we do not know the duration the improvement
In cases where there has been a slight decline after a few years, we have treated patients during an intensive week which in most cases have given back sight again.
Dr. med. Hans Peter Wutta: The first scientific research on Boel’s eye acupuncture
In Germany, one of Boel students conducted scientific research that was published in the book: Augen-Acupuncture, Ehrenwirth with. ISBN 3-431-04030-6
Excerpts of the books
Dr. Hans Peter Wutta from Kiel is an acupuncture doctor. Over the past four years he has worked intensively with the treatment of eye diseases with acupuncture (eye acupuncture).
Additionally, he has conducted research on the effect of eye acupuncture.
Dr. Wutta treated 97 patients with AMD (calcification of the eye). There was no distinction between so-called dry and wet AMD because treatment outcomes experience is the same.
The treatment was carried out with Boel’s Eye Acupuncture.
The patients were tested before and after the treatment, and then statistically processed by the University of Hamburg. The results of this test was extended stagnation of the disease was the criteria that worked with.
For the men and women in the study, the results were surprisingly good, with 76% benefited from the treatments.
Dr. Wutta audited even if the patient’s age had no influence, and he came to the conclusion that the results were the same regardless of how young or old the patient is.
There was a tendency for the treatment seemed a bit better in women than men, but since there were significantly more women who took part in the study; this could have caused this difference.
It is emphasized that it is very important to follow Boel regulations carefully.
“Incurable” eye patients rescued
Here are four examples of other eye patients briefly described.
Everyone was incurable according to medical science. Age in ():
Daniella, Austria (29): Completely blind the entire life of the oxygen in the incubator.
After one week of treatment, she could see a hint for the first time. After six weeks of treatment, she needed no more her guide dog, as she could go alone. She now works full-time.
Annika (12): Juvenile Macular Degeneration. 20% vision before treatment. 100% vision after one year.
Claus, Norway (13): tunnel vision (retinitis pigmentosa), has during one degree of sight in his right eye completely blind in the left eye.
50 grades vision on both after one year.
Claus is the first retinitis pigmentosa patient around the world who had their sight restored.
He became the youngest judge in Norway.
Thorgun (23): Completely blind for 10 years after a traffic accident.
Approximately 80% sight after 9 weeks of treatment – then he took driver’s license.
By acting on a point in a part of a signal is transmitted through the nervous system to the brain. Then start the same process that the body normally uses to cure diseases.
What is new is that with AcuNova can start this self-healing process once it is get.
Or in other words: with AcuNova the problem is treats in nature’s own healing method.
In the book of AcuNova you can read more about the research in AMD – http://www.fremtidens-medicin.dk/8328-1/
AcuNova is a new science. It has not been to the lab, but created through practical experience. It goes very well with the acupuncturist. Boel Acupuncture is not scientists but craftsmen.
However AcuNovas childhood in the late 1990s was involved in a project with five other clinics.
